Huntington Beach Then & Now: Driftwood Golf Course By The Sea

Huntington Beach Then & Now: Driftwood Golf Course By The Sea

THEN // The nine-hole Driftwood Golf Course was a local favorite. Even the actor James Garner used to regularly come down from Los Angeles to play. In this shot, probably mid- to late 1990s, the Huntington Inn Hotel has already been razed.

NOW // Sadly, the course closed down in 2008 and the site has since been developed. The Hilton Waterfront Beach Resort, built around 1990, is visible in both shots. (Thank you, Brian Truax, for sharing the photo.)
