Huntington Beach Then & Now: Iconic 1960s Signage

Huntington Beach Then & Now: Iconic 1960s Signage

THEN // It was first placed in about 1965 near the corner of Warner and Pacific Coast Highway, an iconic sign that sat there for more than 40 years. In about 2008, I saw it being torn down by city workers with chainsaws.

NOW // Today, the site is empty (and a newer sign sits up PCH a few yards). As for the original? I rescued it. It's in storage now but one day will be restored and placed on permanent display in the city.
