54th Annual Huntington Harbour Cruise Of Lights Sets Sail
Now in its 54th year, the Huntington Harbour Boat Parade returns this December to light up local waters in a brilliant musical spectacular. And it's free.
As a thank you to harbour residents who deck out their homes for the annual Cruise of Lights, the parade invites dozens of luminescent "singing" vessels to sail the waters the weekend before the cruise. With the theme "Symphony of Lights," this year's parade takes place on Saturday, December 10, and Sunday, December 11. Boats start lining up at 4:30 p.m., and the parade sets sail at 5:15 p.m. sharp. It's free, open to the public, and entertains until roughly 8:30 p.m.
Prime viewing spots include Seabridge Park, the bridges and park on Trinidad Island, and Sunset Marina. Complete parade route map below.
The 54th Annual Cruise of Lights sets sail December 16-19 and December 22-23, raising funds for youth music programs throughout Orange County. Narrated 45-minute tours are hosted by the Huntington Harbour Philharmonic Committee and launch every hour from 5:30-8:30 p.m. Sights include thousands of lights and animated displays on homes, decks, docks, and boats. Tickets cost between $12 and $19 and are available online. "Santa's Special Night," "Extended" and "Land & Sea" ticket options are also available this year.
