Costa Mesa's Milk & Honey Is Coming To Main Street
UPDATE: Milk & Honey Huntington Beach opened on Tuesday, October 6.
The buzz around town claims that Milk & Honey, one of Costa Mesa's chief coffee shops, is opening its second cafe on Main Street in Huntington Beach this fall. Set down your latte and rejoice because the talk is true. From its coveted lavender latte to its rose macaroons, the shop promises a similar menu with a few new additions, gifting downtown with exactly what it needs: an indie coffee shop.
Taking over the recently shuttered Avocado Cafe near Main & Pecan, the new cafe will offer your standard organic coffee menu, along with loose leaf teas, shaken teas, tea lattes, blended drinks, smoothies, lemonade, acai bowls, shave ice, and other sweet treats. Menu newcomers include New Orleans coffee, fresh juices, and affogato—an indulgent beverage of vanilla gelato or ice cream "drowning" in a shot of hot espresso.
Owner Eddy Kye notes that the aesthetic will feature "a slightly modern natural design with a touch of wall designs made by one of the head designers from Anthropologie."
Opening day is slated for early October. Says Kye, who is very excited to open his second Orange County spot in Huntington Beach, "It's been a long journey to open this location...This spot is for the HB people."
Milk & Honey Huntington Beach is located at 438 Main Street. Hours are 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily. Follow them on Instagram.
