Huntington Beach Then & Now: A 1912 Historic Wintersburg Bungalow

The "then" image depicts Yukiko and Charles Furuta in front of their bungalow in Wintersburg Village, 1912. It's one of six other structures still standing near the corner of Warner and Nichols, the site of the Furuta farm which the family sold in recent years to Rainbow Disposal (now Republic).

In a matter of weeks, a study by the Urban Land Institute will help decide the fate of the structures on the property.
