After its brief annual hiatus, the HB Downtown Art Walk returns on Thursday, March 19, in its first showcasing of 2015. Just two days after the streets were lined with green St. Patrick's Day "observers," Main, Fifth, surrounding streets, and local businesses will be dotted with local artists and their creations. Organized by the HB Downtown Business Improvement District and HB Culture Magazine, the monthly event runs from 6 to 9 p.m. and features more than 40 local artists. Above is your map to help you plan your jaunt.

Your first steps should be toward the International Surfing Museum at Fifth and Olive to grab a hard copy of the map, register to win a $25 gift card to your favorite downtown business, and meet a few artists. During your walk, connect with the artists and musicians. Ask them questions. Take photos of them with their work. Socialize the creativity happening here in HB.

Make your final stop 2nd Floor at Main and Walnut for an after-party featuring music, art, and of course, booze.

Event attendees are encouraged to bicycle or use public transportation if possible. An interactive Orange County Transportation Authority map is available here to help you plan your route. Below is a handy parking map.
