Huntington Beach Then & Now: An Early 1900s Joyride Through Circle Park

Then // Two joyriders at Circle Park, circa 1913. Today it's called Farquhar Park, located at 898 12th Street (directly across from Lake Park), and was originally named after James S. Farquhar, a 43-year publisher for Huntington Beach news.

Now // It was once called Circle Park because it was surrounded by streets, giving it a circular shape. In 1967, the land next to it was covered, creating one large park.
