You wouldn't want to miss the last Huntington Beach Downtown Art Walk of the summer, would you? Of course not. From 6 to 9 p.m. on Thursday, September 18, local artists will own Main Street and its neighboring avenues. You'll find them on the sidewalks, inside restaurants and shops, and at the International Surfing Museum, HB Art Center, and the Shorebreak Hotel, selling their masterpieces. Some will even be creating on the spot.
Be sure to swing by the museum at Main and Olive to pick up a hard copy of the Art Walk map (below), register for a chance to win a $25 gift card to your favorite downtown business, listen to the garage rock jams of Sir Madam, and to check out "Minimal Surf 2," an art exhibit by local artist and Museum Exhibits Director Dave C. Reynolds, as well as the "Century of Stoke" exhibit.
Also, head over to the HB Art Center at Main and Acacia to catch the exhibit "The Art and Soul of Surfing," which wraps this Saturday, September 20.
