Huntington Beach Then & Now: From Hotel To Home

Then // Built in 1906, the Evangeline Hotel on 8th Street was long a stopping point for tourists, workers, students and world travelers. In this circa early 1900s image, members of the Grand Army of the Republic, in town for one of their conventions, pose on the front steps of the charming building.

Now // The former hotel and youth hostel is now privately-owned and has been lovingly restored.
