Here Are Tonight's Featured Art Walk Artists And Where To Find Them

We know you've got big plans tonight that include a little Community and Parks And Recreation, or perhaps some Scandal or Portlandia, but we have a much better idea for your agenda. Venture to Main Street in Huntington Beach for the second HB Downtown Art Walk of the year. You'll not only be greeted with plenty of eye candy and the salty sea air, you'll also be supporting local artists and businesses.

The three-hour event kicks off at 6 p.m. and takes over Main Street as well as its surrounding routes. Local businesses open their doors to local artists, whose work displays for sale along sidewalks, in windows, on walls and even in the lobby of the Shorebreak Hotel. It's a beautiful community collaboration, one that welcomes art aficionados and novices alike. Many spots along the walk offer food and drink deals too.

Always long and inspiring, the list of approximately 30 participating artists features a few of our favorites, including Janessa Bookout, Jimmy Knobs and Michael Latham. In case you can't make it to the Art Walk, need not fret. You can shop Knobs', Latham's and several other local makers' goods in our Made In HB Marketplace.

Art Walkers should swing by the International Surfing Museum to score event wristbands, which are crucial to enjoying the night's many beverage and bite deals. Art Walk maps and details on specials can be scooped up at the museum as well, and a special "Memorial Wall" honoring the late Natalie Kotsch, founder of the museum, will display at the famed venue tonight.

Don't forget to visit the HB Art Center to see what our youth are creating in the "Creative Visions & Imagination Celebration" exhibition. And don't forget the little ones. The Strand will host Easter crafts from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Event attendees are encouraged to bicycle or use public transportation this evening. An interactive Orange County Transportation Authority map is available here to help you plan your route. Drivers, refer to the below downtown parking map.

Art Walks take place every third Thursday of the month. Mark your calendars for the next one on May 15.
