New Seasonal Menu Sets Sail At SeaLegs Wine Bar

SeaLegs Wine Bar serves up some of the most inspiring eats and atmosphere in Huntington Beach, and their focus on fresh and seasonal has steered Owner Alicia Whitney and Executive Chef Alexander Dale to a new island of yum for the fall/winter season. They're also planning one of Orange County's most extravagant New Year's Eve parties.

Centered on warm, spicy, and smoky flavors, the new menu introduces savory fall favorites and seasonally inspired cocktails. Using sustainable ingredients, Whitney and Dale present a spread of comforting bites, including the Duck Confit Shepherd's Pie, Mushroom Kale Flatbread, Cabernet Braised Short Rib, Grilled Lime Caesar Salad, Roasted Butternut Squash Salad, and Persimmon Funnel Cake.  

As regulars are well-aware, the menu pairs dishes with libations, and a selection of new seasonal cocktails have joined the lineup. Winters Coming (whiskey, grapefruit juice, lemon juice, creme de cassis) and New Harvest (London dry gin, apple brandy, dry vermouth, orgeat and angostura bitters) are just a couple of the aptly named bevvies. 

Speaking of adult beverages, SeaLegs' New Year's Eve extravaganza looks to be epic, pulling inspiration from 1950s Chicago casinos. The award-winning restaurant will undergo a temporary transformation into a tasteful gambling den, complete with Playboy bunnies, oyster and dessert bars, an extensive champagne list, and in-sane prizes.
