Huntington Beach Then & Now: A 1960 Cruise Along PCH

Then // This is the intersection of Beach Boulevard and Pacific Coast Highway. In this 1960 image, train tracks are still visible in the foreground. A new car dealership is in the background along with a "Huntington Beach" sign near the middle of the photo. And just look at the traffic!

Now // Today, a huge resort hotel occupies the car lot site. The tracks are gone. And on this day anyway, the traffic on PCH is lighter.
