Huntington Beach Downtown Art Walk Returns This Thursday, Halloween-Style

The Huntington Beach Downtown Art Walk returns Thursday, October 17, in an especially spooky showcasing of local artists from 6 to 9 p.m. Several restaurants and shops on and adjacent to Main Street will open their doors to creativity, allowing artists to display and sell their works while connecting with the local community. Some of the night's feature artists have created special Halloween-themed pieces, including palm tree artist Jimmy Knobs and a live pumpkin carving artist, who will set up shop at the fountain.

We're happy to see some familiar Art Walk names on the list, including Janessa Bookout, and we're especially stoked to check out Kid Creature's exhibit at the International Surfing Museum. A Kid Creature craft center will be open to the public in the museum's parking lot from 5 to 8 p.m.

Here's a handy map to help guide your walk:

Participating eateries and stores will also offer specials during the Art Walk, like extended Sharkeez and RA Sushi happy hours and 20 percent off regular priced items at G's Boathouse and Aloha Grill. Deals are only available to guests who have checked in at the International Surfing Museum and donned an event wristband.
